. 20th Century Studios’ PG-13 sci-fi action adventure PREDATOR: BADLANDS is opening at about 3,600 theatres and is the weekend’s only wide opening from a major studio (a Disney label). Hollywood handicappers are buzzing about a $30-40M domestic launch.

Directed by Dan Trachtenberg (PREY), it stars Elle Fanning & Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi. In BADLANDS, a young Predator teams up with a most unlikely ally while pursuing the ultimate enemy.

The last franchise episode, THE PREDATOR, from 20th Century-Fox & Davis Entertainment, opened 9/14/18 and did $160.5M worldwide on a budget of $88M.
