Since the Motion Picture Academy created its Best Animated Feature category in 2002, 14 of the last 22 ANNIE winners have also won the Oscar. ROBOT is now the frontrunner in the animated feature race.

In the PG rated sci fi adventure ROBOT, an intelligent robot stranded on an uninhabited island survives by bonding with the island’s animals.

Directed by Chris Sanders (LILO AND STITCH), its screenplay by Chris Sanders is based on Peter Brown’s book. ROBOT, which runs 102 minutes, opened in theatres 9/27/24.
